Commodity Price Outlook 2019. Commodity Price Outlook 2019 is a Benchmark Price (HAA) for 2019. The Commercial Director of PT KPBN said that “For this year's benchmark price determination, there is a format change, in which price determination has been set by Holding Perkebunan based on predictions and input from KPBN”.
“Next year, it is predicted that commodity prices will continue to fluctuate, compounded by the fact that 2019 is a political year, which can support or suppress commodity prices” said Iman Bimantara.
The speaker at the first session was a Bank Mandiri Senior Economist, Andy Asmoro with material about World Macro-Economics in 2019. Furthermore, there was a material presentation from Guswanto as Head of BMKG Climate Information Service Center with material entitled 2019 Weather Movement Forecast. The last material presentation was by Reuters Technical Analyst, Wang Tao about Technical Analysis of the 2019 Commodity. Participants were able to ask questions directly to the speakers.
The second session discussed the 2019 Commodity Benchmark Price (HAA), The commodities presented were Palm Oil, Rubber, Sugar, Molasses, Coffee, Cocoa, and Tea.

KPBN Holds Business Gathering & Golf Tournament. The Business Gathering event not only aims to optimize the sales of PTPN products but also to enhance the understanding of customer expectations. `At this moment, let us work together to maximize the understanding of buyer expectations on PTPN products, where KPBN customers can directly convey their experiences or complaints to PTPN as the producer, and vice versa, PTPN can also share their aspirations and expectations for customers and KPBN as PTPN's marketing agent` said Edo as the President Director of PT KPBN.
The guests enthusiastically followed the business gathering program and conveyed their expectations to improve PTPN products. Those inputs will be considered by PTPN and later on, KPBN will formulate the most appropriate solution model to improve KPBN's service level through the right business process.
Furthermore, on Saturday, 28 July 2018, as the host, KPBN held a golf tournament that was participated by PTPN Group and business partners to make the gathering more enjoyable. There were several champion titles to be won, including Best Gross Overall (BGO), Best Nett Overall (BNO) I & II, Nearest to the Pin, and Longest Drive. This event was supported by Bank Mandiri, Bank OCBC NISP, Apical, Jiwasraya, Permata Hijau Group, and Jakarta Tea Buyers Association.

Tightening Silaturahmi : KPBN Holds Halalbihalal. The event was opened by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Hari, who said in his speech: `With this annual event, retirees, predecessors who have served at the KPBN, business partners, etc., can gather and reconnect.`
During the Halal Bi Halal event, Edo, as the President Director of KPBN, also said, `...in addition to strengthening ties, this event is intended to increase cohesiveness and unite our Vision for Achieving KPBN Transformation. There were many interesting events held during the activity, including a lecture from KH Muchtar Khalid, the presentation of souvenirs to retirees who were entering their Leave Period, musical entertainment, and door prizes.In addition to being semi-formal, with flower decorations and the atmosphere of Ramadan songs, there were also typical Indonesian culinary delights served to the guests. OCBC NISP disburses Rp 100 billion loan to KPBN. The signing was done by OCBC NISP Trade Finance Division Head Gianto Kusno with KPBN Commercial Director Iman Bimantara. `As a bank that has the most complete Trade Finance facilities including export, import, guarantee, and supply chain, Bank OCBC NISP proves its commitment to always providing trade solutions for customers in developing their businesses,` said OCBC NISP Bank Director Martin Widjaja in a release received by Kontan.co.id, Wednesday (6/20).
Furthermore, the company said that in encouraging the business development of KPBN, the company provides a direct loan with a buyer financing limit of IDR 100 billion. The funds will be used to help tea buyers get financing facilities with a longer period so that in the end it can increase the sales volume of tea products.
This cooperation is expected to be the initial step of the business relations between the two companies. In the future, the cooperation is hoped to be not only limited to the buyer financing scheme for tea products, but also for other export-oriented products such as Crude Palm Oil (CPO), rubber, and coffee.
