An Indonesian citizen, born in Camba on September 18, 1968, he earned a Doctoral degree in Post-Harvest Technology from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2006 and a Master's degree from IPB University in 1999.
He was appointed as Commissioner of PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara based on the Joint Resolution of the President Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero), the President Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara I (Persero), and the President Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV, acting as the Shareholders of PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara, on June 10, 2026.
He currently also serves as Director General of Horticulture at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, where he oversees and supports the implementation of various national strategic policies related to food crops and horticulture. In recognition of his dedication and service, he was awarded the Satyalancana Karya Satya XX Tahun in 2019.
