Jakarta – PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (PT KPBN) once again successfully held its inaugural Tea Auction in 2026. The event took place at PT KPBN's Head Office, located at Jl. Cut Meutia No. 11, Menteng, Jakarta, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. This event was attended by a number of important figures in the national tea industry, who collaborated to strengthen Indonesia's tea sector.
Some of the figures present at the event included Petrus Budiman, Head of the Holding's Sales Marketing Strategy Division; Mr. Laely, Head of the Marketing Division; and PT KPBN Director, M. Iswan Achir. Also in attendance were Muhammad Zulham Rambe, SEVP Ops of PT KPBN; Tirta Karma Senjaya, Head of Bappebti; KBI Director Mr. Sidu Solihin; and Farid Akbani, Chairman of the Jakarta Tea Buyers Association (JTBA). Not to be missed, colleagues from PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) as tea producers also participated in the event.
This Tea Auction, attended by business actors and tea buyers, was not merely a transaction event, but also an important forum for strategic collaboration among tea industry players. This aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian tea in both domestic and international markets.
In line with this, Petrus Budiman, Head of the Holding's Sales Marketing Strategy Division, also reminded that synergy between producers and buyers is crucial for building a sustainable tea ecosystem. “Events like this are not just about buying and selling transactions, but also an opportunity to strengthen relationships among all parties involved in the tea industry. We believe that this collaboration will open up significant opportunities for the advancement of Indonesia's tea industry,” he added.
With the successful execution of PT KPBN's inaugural Tea Auction in 2026, it is hoped to become an important benchmark in strengthening the national tea sector. Moving forward, it is expected that the Indonesian tea industry can be more competitive in the international market and create broader business opportunities for all involved stakeholders.
