PT KPBN officially launches I-MITRA to strengthen synergy with exchange partners.
Belawan – PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) demonstrated its commitment to supporting human resource development in the agribusiness sector by backing the first wave of a field trip for students of the Agribusiness Study Program at the Indonesian Palm Oil Technology Institute (ITSI). The activity took place at PT KPBN Tank Farm Belawan on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
This field trip was attended by 50 fifth-semester students from the 2025/2026 academic year and lasted from 09:00 AM WIB until completion. This program is part of practice-based learning aimed at strengthening students' understanding of business processes and operational aspects of agribusiness supporting industries, particularly in the logistics and commodity management sectors.
Through this activity, PT KPBN actively played a role in fostering synergy between the academic and industrial worlds. The students had the opportunity to observe firsthand the company's operational processes, the management of tank farm facilities, and the workflow related to the commodity supply chain, from reception to distribution.
PT KPBN views educational activities such as this field trip as a strategic and positive step in supporting the creation of human resources who are competent, adaptive, and ready to face the challenges of the professional world. The field experience gained is expected to be valuable preparation for students in enhancing practical insights and applied understanding in the field of agribusiness.
This field trip is Wave I and will be followed by Wave II according to the established schedule. PT KPBN hopes that collaboration with educational institutions like ITSI can continue as part of the company's contribution to supporting the sustainable development of the agribusiness sector.
